Program
I Mori , 51 km from Ancona. The opportunity to put down your suitcases and enjoy the magnificent garden (and perhaps the swimming pool?) To start your stay gently! In the kitchen together! In the evening: welcome dinner and, to get to know each other while cooking, a cooking class during which we will prepare a typical Marche dish.
Go to Jesi for a walk in the olive grove of Giorgio, to discover the varieties of olives grown in Marche. The walk will be followed by an olive oil tasting (a real short course in professional olive oil tasting!) Free lunch: advice will be available in the travel diary prepared by Atypic Travel. Early afternoon: Road, 40km, and visit of the very pretty town of Recanati, birthplace of the famous Italian poet Giacomo Leopardi. Late afternoon and evening: Recanati: Meeting with Andrea for a cooking class on saffron. The course will be followed by dinner and a walk under the stars in the astronomical observatory of this farm! Back to Cingol
Departure from the farmhouse by e-bike for a ride in the Marche hills or by car. During our walk, we will stop to visit an old water mill dating from the 16th century which we will visit with Andrea. Then – by bike or car -, head for the Castelli di Jesi for a walk in the vineyards with Valerio, a young winemaker, to discover the Verdicchio, grape variety – and white wine – produced in this corner of the Marches. The walk will be followed by a wine tasting and a picnic in the garden. Afternoon :after a return to the agritourism, free afternoon. Relax by the pool? Or rather visit a pretty village in the area? Village of Appignano at 20km ….. We leave the choice to you! Optional activity : For those who wish, ceramic workshop in the small village of Appignano where you can, with the help of the craftsman, make a plate or a vase. In th evening: dinner at the agriturismo to taste the delicacies of typical Marche cuisine.
Breakfast and check-out. In the morning, meet with Carla for a walk to discover wild herbs, picking and cooking class. In the end, a special lunch in the greenhouse of this farm!
