May 2023: Personally, I loved discovering the Azores! What splendor! The reception at Ponta Delgada airport was perfect and warm. I rather recommend 6 nights in Sao Miguel, in 2 different accommodations, to better appreciate the island. I am well aware that it was my choice to spend 5 nights in the same accommodation. The Caloura Resort is very good. Beautiful views, beautiful breakfast and dinner buffets and a nice swimming pool, which is nice because the beaches are rather rare.
